A white Ford F-150 pickup towing a boat was in the westbound lanes, and the driver passed a semi-truck heading in the same direction, the State Patrol said. The pickup was passing the truck, in the eastbound lane, when it crashed into a green Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

The Ford truck burst into flames, and four people in the truck died.

Four people were in the Chevy truck. Two of those people died at the scene, and another died while in an ambulance en route to a hospital. Another person suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by helicopter to a hospital.
