Man with tribal flower tattoo sexually assaulted woman in bathroom at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

A woman was sexually assaulted in a bathroom at Red Rocks Amphitheatre during a movie Tuesday night, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies are asking for help in identifying the suspect described as being possibly Hispanic with a tribal flower tattoo on his right forearm.

The stocky man was between 5-feet-7 and 6-feet tall, had blue eyes and dark hair, according to a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office news release. He was wearing a dark shirt and possibly jeans.

The sexual assault happened when the woman entered the bathroom on the lower portion of the amphitheater on the north side during Film on the Rocks between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

When more people entered the restroom, the female victim was able to leave the bathroom and get away, the news release said.
