One man was fatally stabbed Saturday night in Aurora and police have identified a person of interest, according to Aurora police.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at about 9:36 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Emporia Street and found the man with a stab wound, according to a news release. The man was transported to a hospital and he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the circumstances around the stabbing or more details about the incident.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the man at a later date.
Police have a person of interest in connection with the fatal stabbing and said in the news release that they believe it was an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
